In
2002, Big Sur strengthened its roots as a competitive IT supplier,
by adding Network Support and Network Design Services
to its client offerings. Deepening its relationships
with leading manufacturers like Novell and HP,
Big Sur has built a remarkable delivery model that
has won several industry awards over the last 4
years. With revenues topping $6 million in 2005,
Big Sur's leadership team continues to develop
their service offering by adding Managed Services
for mid-size companies. For organizations that
need reliable IT support, Managed Services has
allowed Big Sur to offer years of industry experience
and investment to their clients, ensuring a low
cost model, accentuated by responsive and friendly
network support.
Big Sur continues to excel as an industry leader
by going deeper into the data center. New in 2006
Big Sur has become a Silver Partner with APC. Over
the years, clients have counted on Big Sur for
enterprise server and storage configurations, enterprise
e-mail, back up, CDP, network OS, and enterprise
software licensing services. Now with advanced
APC design specialists on staff, Big Sur engineers
can fully design rack enclosures, cooling systems,
and up to 3-phase power solutions for their clients.
This is a vital skill set when designing solutions
in the data center that may include extreme heat
producing blade server systems. Also new in 2006,
Big Sur has become HP Enterprise Storage Authorized,
now offering the world class EVA storage line.
Big Sur continues to define itself as a "go to"
provider of advanced storage and server solutions
from Hewlett Packard.
